Toilet paper and water-based pigment
75x5x5 inches

This temporary intervention is made up of toilet paper rolls printed in the pattern of wood grain and stacked one on top of the other. It references the harvesting of virgin boreal forests in Canada for the production of softer bathroom tissues. This demand causes irrevocable damage to the forest and wildlife ecosystems and the First Nation people’s way of life while releasing vast amounts of greenhouse gases. The equivalent of 270,000 trees are flushed or dumped into landfill around the world every day.
